About me
I’ve been teaching Science and Biology at Green Bay since 2005. Before that I was at Kelston Girls College for 4 years. I’ve also worked as a teaching/ research technician at Auckland University for a number of years, sepcialising in Marine Botany (yeah seaweed!), and tested your drinking water and sewage output for the Auckland City Council. Making Wigs and working in a plant nursery got me through University, and part time fishing got me enough hours to gain my commercial skippers ticket. My free time nowadays is spent with my long suffering husband and son skiing, diving, boating, swimming and traveling. So yes I am a teacher but I’m also a real person and not just the robot put at the front of the classroom to give you a hard time!
